Pasta isn't made by hand. Was sadly disappointed. I Was really excited to try the mac & pork. The pork was sweet and the flavor didn't align at all to the flavor of the pasta. Honestly. The pasta flavor was good... but the pork tasted like it belonged in a completely different dish. Also... I expect Mac and cheese to be more thick and saucy... this was more like a cheesy soup. I didn't finish my food. Maybe it was an off night. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40

WTH! Fantastic! Starting with the spring vegetable salad- impossibly crisp with delightful pea pods and other surprises. Dressed in green goddess & pecorino, becoming exponentially elevated with an added dash of salt. The garlic bread is everything it should be but I wish it came out closer to my salad. I looove house made pasta! The black truffle pappardelle here is no exception. But am I crazy? Less butter please and amp up the fresh cracked pepper. The truffle flavor is on target. I enjoyed this meal with the Chianti which helped balance all the butter. And then there’s the cannoli, with light lemony filling. Molto benne! I love Grassa and am always satisfied with my meal. That being said, I’ve noticed quality varies depending on the day (not so much the location as far as I can tell). Sometimes the mac & cheese is super cheesy, other times a lot of the pasta seems to be without sauce. Sometimes the Brussels are overly oily and wilty, other times they’re crispy and just right. Again, this is me being kind of nitpicky because the food has always been REALLY GOOD. It’s just that sometimes it’s AMAZING and other times there’s something that could be improved. I do love the cute handwriting and little drawing someone did on my to-go boxes this time around! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40
