A friend recommended this restaurant to me, saying the beef was amazing and that their signature kimchi was a must-try. Last week, before flying back to Thailand, I finally had the chance to visit — and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in Japan. I didn’t make a reservation, so I had to wait in line for a little while outside the restaurant. The staff came out to welcome and take care of the guests so warmly, and before long, I was seated at the counter bar where I could watch the chefs carefully prepare every dish, including the ones I ordered. I ordered quite a lot of dishes, and every single one was delicious and reasonably priced. What impressed me the most, though, was the level of care and hospitality from the staff. Japan is already well known for excellent customer service, but this place went far beyond that. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness in even the smallest things truly made me feel special. I loved every cut of beef I ordered. The signature kimchi was unlike any kimchi I’ve ever had before — it was my first time trying something like that, and I absolutely loved it. My favorite dish was actually the beef intestines. Everything was marinated perfectly. My grilling skills may not have been perfect, but the staff kindly stepped in to help grill whenever they noticed I was unsure, without me even having to ask. I was genuinely touched by their attentiveness. I hope more people get to enjoy delicious food and support restaurants that provide such heartfelt service like this one. If you’re looking for excellent Japanese BBQ at great value and don’t mind a more casual setting, this is the place! Two of us had lots of meat and paid under JPY10,000 in total. I don’t usually do chains, but this was surprisingly good. You can find outlets across Tokyo, including another one just 50 meters away. This outlet is a little difficult to find though. It’s in a very narrow alley along a small street that looks like it leads to nowhere. All the meats were excellent, though my favorite was probably the karubi (short ribs). They have a few assortment platters, which is also great for variety. The drinking sirloin is very popular and very good, but it’s very thinly sliced, which may not be to everyone’s liking. They also have plenty of offal, but I don’t eat that, so I can’t comment. The kimchi is very highly recommended in other reviews, but I’m not a fan as it’s too hard and crunchy for me; I prefer my kimchi to be softer and soaked longer. Service was very good, though note that English isn’t spoken much here. I don’t fully understand if you’re expected to grill the meats yourself or the staff will do it for you. But if you sit around long enough or just look lost, someone will come grill for you! Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

April 3, 2026 Food was all good and good value for the ¥8,500 course including all you can drink iirc. Food came out fast and was filling. But the service was so bad for a place of this location. A male staff named Yun (?) ユン was curt and rude whenever we asked for drinks. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
