Absolutely fantastic authentic Italian food. Best bread and olive oil I've ever had. Got the rigatoni that was wonderful as well. Absolutely will return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

I am Italian, so when I travel, I try to find authentic Italian restaurants. I actually stumbled across Giuseppe's Italian Ristorante visiting a friend in Rosemount for dinner and was so glad I did! My first experience was amazing - from the outside the restaurant kind of looks like a sketchy shop or diner (which normally makes for a great "dive" feel!) so I didn't know what to expect. You walk in and right away you are hit with the smells of food, the decor, the music and the small tables which are placed close together. Italian families are very close-knit and having tables that are close together is very authentic because it's supposed to have that family feel. So, if you don't like someone you don't know close to you, go during a slower time of the day! The restaurant was bustling but we were greeted by the hostess right away. Their bread with the oils they used and their pasta were fantastic. Our server was very knowledgeable and we ordered a bottle of wine to go with our dinner. One of the owners ended up coming over to check on our dinner and we chatted with him for a while about his family, the restaurant and the food. He ended up gifting us with a great bottle of wine! I still think about that night. However, I went back during a lunch time some time later and the server I had did not know anything about the menu or what they made in-house. I would have rated this differently if that had been my first experience. I will chalk it up to she was new, and I would be back for dinner with reservations!
