I had a truly fantastic experience here. The food was outstanding, and the steak in particular was exceptionally tender and flavorful—something that can be surprisingly hard to find in Ecuador. What stood out most, however, was the service. It was absolutely first-rate—attentive, warm, and genuinely exceptional from start to finish. The only issue came at the very end of the meal, when I was informed that the credit card machine was not working. Fortunately, I happened to have just enough cash to cover the bill—literally to the dollar—but unfortunately nothing extra for a tip. I could tell the staff was disappointed, and I genuinely felt bad, as they absolutely deserved one. I do wish I had been informed in advance about the credit card situation, as I would have come prepared. That said, I want to sincerely apologize for not being able to leave a tip, especially given the level of service I received. It was truly an excellent experience overall.
