What an incredible experience from start to finish! We visited as a family, and our visit exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely exceptional - authentic, traditional Ethiopian cuisine that was bursting with flavour. If you’re looking for the real taste of Ethiopia, this is the place to come. Every dish was fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. What truly made our visit unforgettable was the owner, Abeba. She was so warm, kind, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. She made us feel like honoured guests rather than customers, and her attention to detail and care made our experience even more special. We were so touched that we even took a photo with her before we left! The restaurant itself was spotless, beautifully presented, and had such a lovely atmosphere. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right - the food, the service, the hospitality, and the ambience—but this restaurant absolutely does. We will definitely be returning every time we’re in the area. Thank you, Abeba, for such a memorable experience. Five stars all around from us - I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more highly! I was really lucky one of my nieces suggested to have dinner at Hahu. An amazing surprise! Super pleasant premises decorated with lots of plants and ethnic manufacts added extra charme to the owner’s/coock’/waitress’s and maîtresse’s welcoming smile. Expect a little waiting, since most of the dishes are expressly cooked for you: your patience will be rewarded and your tastebuds will be grateful. I did not expect to find all of this in Ostia.
