Very fun atmosphere. Food is pretty darn good. Service is absolutely terrible. We walked around this place twice, ordered from two different places, get our food, and were never spoken to by a single person. Then we wanted drinks. Waited around for a “waitress” for 15 mins and went up to the bar to inquire. Bartender said they would send someone over. Then a very rude waitress held her finger up to us and said “hang on a minute”. She proceeded to never come by and at the end of the meal she came and said “did you have a drink order”? Umm no. We did 45 mins ago. Thanks but no thanks. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

The vibes and atmosphere are great, and I like food courts in general. The service here, however, is really weak. First of all, you order your food at kiosks and take your own number, but are still asked for tips. For a machine? Tips are for service, and this is all self service. Then for the drinks, we sat for over 20 minutes and no one took our order. The servers were all standing around talking to each other and ignoring us. I walked up to the bar and the tender said we have to go through a server, and "sent someone to us" but it was another wait. Finally someone came and took our orders, and then told us that we also have to bus our own trays and glasses. Still at payment, the tip suggestions start at 20%. Either be self service and act like it, or full service and do it right. This place wants to take the upcharge without providing the service. For the past three years, my family and I have been regular patrons of Hallpass in Gateway, and it's my pleasure to share our genuine appreciation for this establishment. Hallpass offers a wide array of culinary delights, and I must admit, their hot chicken has a special place in our hearts. It consistently delivers a top-tier dining experience, leaving us never less than delighted. What truly distinguishes Hallpass, however, is its exceptional staff. Among them, Roland, one of the managers, stands out for his impressive skills behind the bar, particularly his whiskey sour. Hailey and Shane, two of the talented bartenders, consistently provide not only great drinks but also a friendly atmosphere that keeps us coming back. And when it comes to bar service, Lana has been a shining star. Her attentive and efficient service ensures that our experience is enjoyable, especially when we have our kids in tow. In summary, Hallpass in Gateway is a dependable choice for superb food and excellent service.
