I tried this 14.99 grilled chicken meal because I saw rania hamid post it on her tik tok and hers looked amazing but idk what happened with mine. The picture is without anything touched, the soup had big chunks of chicken and the vegetables were also big chunks. The rice tasted like literal cinnamon. Soup also had a fat layer of oil on top idk what happened honestly. The chicken was super dry but wasn’t as bad. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

We were so impressed with our lunch at Hamido that I have to leave a review.The restaurant got on our radar from a Youtube video on the best shawarmas in Detroit so we decided to visit. The drive from Ann Arbor was well worth it &, if not only to make our son happy, we will be back many times in the future. When we arrived, the staff friendly greeted us and we soon were contemplating a larger menu than we had anticipated (I erroneously thought they had shawarmas and little more). We ordered the special plate for 2, falafel (12 pieces), a shawarma for our son and we brought home 80% of the food. When we expressed shock at the size of the portions, our waitress simply stated "This is Hamido, honey." To be honest, between the salad and the hummus appetizer, my wife and I would have had a wonderful lunch. No need for anything else. So, the service is welcoming and the dishes are crazy generous - how about the food? The hummus was marvelous w/ a pronounced, rich nutty flavor, the salad was delicious (and, suprise, huge) and the falafel was seasoned perfectly. According to our son (12 yrs old), he had the best shawarma of his life (11 out 10 in his words). Thank you, Hamido, you gained 3 customers today. The service and food were too good to not go back. Hamido Restaurant in dearborn Heights never disappoints. The food is always on point, and it’s become one of our go-to spots. We mainly order the rotisserie chicken, and it is consistently excellent every single time—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Honestly, it’s always one of the best rotisserie chickens in town. Quality, consistency, and great flavor keep us coming back. Highly recommended if you’re looking for reliable, great-tasting food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
