Been here three times. First two times with my aunty and uncle and the staff were very nice, accomodating and patient. Third time came with just the youngsters and boy was the service different. Food came out promptly and everything was good until it was time to pay the bill. Now I understand this is popular spot and lots of people come to eat but to rush your customers to leave just as they finished eating and were trying to settle their stomachs is a bit much. Politely tell them “oh so sorry we are a bit busy right now and we’re wondering if we can have this table now? No rush!” is all I am asking. Don’t throw the bill on the table and then shout “customers waiting, need table, out”if English is such a problem get another staff to explain? Maybe the manager/waitress Asian lady was having a bad day? Instead you yell at the other young staff members to “GET THE TABLE READY” right in front of your PAYING CUSTOMERS. Listen, another table in the booth area also just finished and I am wondering, why didn’t you rush them too? Is it because they were a family and not a group of young adults trying to enjoy a nice little dinner? Anyways, not coming here again but thanks to the chef for the nice food and the girl taking our order! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

I have visited Hanamaruya Bankstown restaurant, several times, and the food has been excellent every time. The sushime (raw fish)is superb and melts in my mouth every time. It is fresh and tasty. The staff are terrific. It is very busy, but worth queuing for. I enjoyed a very indulgent Christmas lunch on this occasion with Carona and Suju Love this place, food, staff and ambiance. Bon appetite fellow eaters.Parking: Street parking, or free car parking approximately 100m on Greenfield Parade or off Brandon Avenue.Wheelchair accessibility: It does have ramps into the establishment but the walkway is a bit narrow, I would most probably ring ahead to ask the restaurant. The toilets are big enough in space but can’t recall if they have grips. On the walls.
