We only tried the restaurant and we were very happy. The food was excellent and the prices fair. The location is absolutely beautiful, you dine sitting in a room that has seen history come through. Would be nice to go back, also to play padel. Service: 5 Location: 5

Hanbury Tennis Club Alassio is a fantastic place to play tennis! On every level I might rate a tennis club this club gets top marks. It's gorgeous, carved out on hill high above a beautiful stretch of Italian coastline. The red clay courts are perfectly maintained, playing on them is pure joy. The clubhouse is a substantial Mediterranean style building, and like the club itself, it dates back to the early 1920s (and is also lovingly maintained.) The entire staff, the teaching pros, the pro shop and the cafe staff are all friendly, professional and helpful. Joe Skordis, the club owner, is a true gentleman and a perfect host. The clubhouse also houses Joe's personal collection of tennis memorabilia- vintage posters, film posters with tennis, tennis themed art, rare vintage tennis books, rare photography, racquets, vintage tennis clothing, small items in display cases, etc. It's like walking through the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum or the International Tennis Hall of Fame, perhaps better since this is so unexpected. If you love the game of tennis as I do and you find yourself in this part of the world, this is a rare opportunity you will not want to miss!
