We got the soup of today. A carrot sweet potato soup and a cup of hot chocolate with cream. This was a let down. Soup was tame and non creamy. Hot chocolate was a huge disappointment. Not sweet at all. Very tame and tasteless. To expensive for this standard.

Just love! Came to have an organic breakfast before leaving the town. Such a nice eco-friendly place with the cozy vibes. Love that the food made from organic and local ingredients. Nice service with warmwelcoming. Recommended if you love the fresh and good food :)

This is an intimate place with only 7-8 tables in the center of Lillehammer. Lykkelige Dager serve a variety of healthier fare as well as coffee and a small selection of cakes and traditional Norwegian open faced sandwiches. Service was efficient and with a smile by two beautiful and accommodating Norwegian ladies who - although busy - were happy to answer our questions about the food as well as about this beautiful little Norwegian town. Lykkelige Dager (correctly translated to Happy Days) is open six days a week from 9am to 5pm and is a great place to stop by to pick up a healthy lunch or for a take out dinner. Everything is prepared fresh and from high quality ingredients. We highly recommend a visit. Parking can be difficult at times in downtown Lillehammer but there's a parking lot (metered as is everywhere in town) up the hill and behind the larger building.
