If the filthy condiment station is anything to go by, I'd seriously question the standards throughout this place. We were really disappointed with our visit to Harlees at Poole Quay. The customer service was very poor – the staff came across as rude and unwelcoming, and communication was difficult. We certainly didn't feel valued as customers. For nearly £60 for a family of four, the portions were surprisingly small and didn't represent good value for money. To make matters worse, the condiment station was filthy, with used pots of gravy and mushy peas left lying around instead of being cleared away. It gave a poor impression of the overall cleanliness. We ended up trying the fish and chip shop further along the quay on another visit, and the difference was huge. The staff were friendly, the food tasted much better, the portions were more generous, and the prices were more reasonable. Sadly, based on our experience, we wouldn't return to Harlees or recommend it when there are much better options just a short walk away. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20

Ordered loaded chips for 3 people, it cost me about £22. What can I say, it was absolutely disgusting. The chips were all stuck together and the bacon on the loaded chips was vile.The cheese was like rubber, it wasn't fit for humans. couldn't be bothered to take it back, so I fed it to the seagulls instead, thats was it was fit for.

Bought fish and chips which was tasteless, smelt odd, greasy. The chips were also tasteless, greasy and very crunchy! I rarely wright reviews but feel ill after eating. Not fit for seagulls. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1
