Been consistently going to Hedarys since 2015. Always had great food and service experiences. This last time we went (6.4.2026) we ordered a large maze platter to share between me and my 2 kids. Were offered water and before we could order annything else the waitress darted away. Never saw the waitress until 30mins later when she returned with bread for the table. We then ordered some drinks and another meal. Food is always good, but service at this level is deeply disappointing and sours the evening. It honestly felt as if we were seated in a room by ourselves and forgotten about for 30mins. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Very charming ambiance, with comfortable seating and attentive service. We were welcomed with complimentary pita, which was warm and delicious. The Hedary’s Chicken was excellent and very generously portioned. It is a half chicken, so definitely substantial. The grilled salmon was decent but not particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the lamb chops were extremely chewy, so much so that neither my wife and I could eat them. This felt like an issue with the meat itself rather than the preparation. To their credit, our server did her best to make it right by comping my wife one piece of kafta and a baklava for dessert. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Love this place, it has excellent food, strong Turkish coffee and an exotic kind of ambience reminiscent of Rick's in Casablanca. Having visited several times now, the service has always been excellent, with very friendly staff. The building is reportedly over a hundred years old, but finished nicely with several smaller rooms and one larger one, which gives a more intimate feel to the dining experience than the typical wearhouse with tables experience common at many locations today. For a romantic dinner for two or a get together with friends, if you like trying exotic food, I believe you will greatly enjoy Hedary's Mediterranean Restaurant.
