Hemingway's has a fantastic location right on Playa Potrero, making it a great spot to relax and watch the sunset. They also offer live music several nights a week, which adds to the atmosphere. We stopped in for drinks and enjoyed the beachfront setting, but found it to be on the pricey side. We paid about $22 USD for two cocktails, one of which was non-alcoholic. We didn't eat there, so I can't comment on the food. They also have a club with amenities such as a pool, cornhole and tetherball, which may be especially appealing for families with children. Overall, it's a fun place to enjoy the beach views and live music, just be prepared for tourist-area pricing. Atmosphere: 4

Mixed feelings about this place. The food is delicious, but the service really brings the experience down. The staff often seem disengaged, and it feels like you’re asking for a favor every time you try to order. At one point, I even had to go up to the bar myself because they were off in a corner on their phones. For the prices they charge, the experience just doesn’t match. I really hope the owner either adjusts the pricing or invests in better service, because the food deserves it. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

If you’re looking for the perfect mix of great food, relaxing vibes, and a beautiful setting in Potrero, Hemingway’s is a must-visit. We absolutely loved the atmosphere here—it’s the kind of place you can spend hours enjoying. We started with some beach time, then cooled off with a swim in the pool, which made the whole experience even better. For food, we had the ceviche and the hot honey pepperoni pizza, and both were delicious. And the hibiscus margaritas? Let’s just say I had a few, and every single one was perfect. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, which really made the experience stand out even more.
