2 gourmands and 1 herring, 15.25 euros, but what if it was still edible? Herring was way too salty, gourmet cod had too much batter on it, so the oil was dripping from it. So the person who bakes the fish doesn't know anything about it, especially cod is lightly coated with flour batter. So it was the first and last time I ate fish there Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Unfortunately not a pleasant experience. We wanted to order a fish, but an older Dutch lady who works here treated us like dirt and spoke to us several times in an imperative manner. I asked for a napkin to clean the table. Then she came a little later with cleaning fluid and a cloth and said “hands up!!” And then we asked for fish seasoning on our kibbeling and fish fries and then she said again in a nasty hateful tone “on what?!” So I said “both”. Without looking at me, she just barely threw the food at her colleague... and again the hand went to her side with an "I don't give a.. " attitude. There was no “you” or “thank you” either. Very rude and disrespectful. I don't know if she had a bad life/day or is just rude on her own, but she could definitely use a course in “being customer friendly”. And if she doesn't feel like it, please resign. You'll make a lot of people happy with that. Boy, boy, boy! We will never come back here, what a waste of money (by the way, bickering was €7 for a tub of fat) and we have had a bad experience as a result. In short; definitely not recommended! It's in the middle of the new herring time, but fishmonger Henk Kraan doesn't sell herring because they don't have time to clean them, while only a handful of customers were eating and only I was standing in front of the counter. Apparently there is more trade in the fish & chips, but put the snack bar above the business Service: 1
