I went to Hibachi Jr. around dinner time on Saturday to get lunch for the following day. When I heated up the food on Sunday, the filet had a bad taste to it. When I called to let them know that the beef was bad, I was told they’d give me a refund if I had my receipt. I drove all the way there with my receipt only to then be told that they wouldn’t give me a refund and that I should’ve called on Saturday. I explained that I didn’t eat it on Saturday and that I couldn’t call on Sunday because they’re closed. The manager said sorry and repeated that I should’ve called on Saturday. At the end of the day, the beef was bad regardless of when I called to notify them and they should’ve given me the refund they initially said they’d give. Their food isn’t cheap and I paid too much for spoiled food. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Sorry for the inconvenience, our freshly cooked foods such as meats and seafoods are best consumed the same day. Refunds are not only done by receipts but upon returning the product and inspection and it's exceeded the time to determine the quality of the food. Thank you and we apologize.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food - restaurant is modified counter service (you order at counter, they bring to table and bus afterwords). Fast and friendly.
