Absolutely love Hojoko! Our favorite foods, so far, were the wagyu cheeseburger, the shrimp toast (thanks to Daniel for the suggestion) & the chicken tail! Our flight was cancelled, but a couple Moonlit Painkillers helped ease our frustration. Keep up the great work! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30

Gregory, that lineup is a full-on encore. We’re thrilled the wagyu cheeseburger, shrimp toast, chicken tail & Moonlit Painkillers helped turn a canceled flight into a night worth remembering, and Daniel gets the assist for the shrimp toast call. My girlfriend's and I took a trip into the city to celebrate my sister's bachelorette. We're from Rhode Island. We're staying at the verb and their staff recommended this restaurant. Walkable distance from our hotel room, it's downstairs lol. The staff in this whole building are so pleasant. We absolutely love Macy, Jennifer, Kye and Jake! We've stayed here for the past couple nights at the verb and have been to hojoko every day. We went to the bar Thursday night after we checked in the hotel. Went swimming at the pool Friday afternoon. We had a table with Jake for dinner Friday. And Jennifer helped us with exploring the menu and made great recommendations Thursday night, which got us hooked on the food and came back Friday afternoon before the Red Sox game. We also came back Friday night after the Sox game. We are hooked on your spicy tuna roll! The burger and dumplings are so good too! I wish I took more pictures of the food. Overall, I was very impressed with the level of care given by your staff. The bartenders made beautifully refreshing drinks. My sister Stacy dropped her fork on the floor and 10 seconds later she turns around and one of your staff members brings a new set of silverware. Another occasion, my water cup was empty and so was the communal water bottle. Without even asking, a staff member placed a brand new bottle on the table for us. I don't understand why the verb and Hojoko aren't five star establishments, but you guys are always five stars in our book. PS.. do you guys do catering for weddings? (joking but a girl could dream..) would love for you guys to cater the wedding but you guys are far from Newport. But don't worry... we'll be back!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $30–40 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes, Not sure Vegetarian options: Best Boston Japanese food! Pretty cocktails. Fantastic service. Dietary restrictions: My friends are really picky eaters. The staff seem to know the menu pretty well. One of the managers took the time to really explain the whole menu and she made really great recommendations. She recommended a lot of things that we would never try but when we actually ordered the items, we were blown away. My sister has a severe sesame allergy and was very impressed to the seriousness and care with serving us. We were convinced that there is something for everyone, and that is absolutely true! Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid parking lot, Paid street parking, Valet, Paid parking garage Parking: Their bar is small, but you can still get served at tables. They serve food late! Kid-friendliness: Not sure about kids, but I did see a lot of kids at the pool Wheelchair accessibility: I think the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. But the hotel does not have an elevator.

The way you described Jake, Jennifer, Macy, Kye & the rest of the service team (plus those beautifully refreshing bar drinks) is exactly what we want people to feel when they walk into Hojoko.
