1/5/23 Zach and I didn't feel like taking the rental car out to get dinner so we looked up some places we could walk to and it was nice weather that night. We decided on Hokkaido Ramen Santouka. It was a pleasant 20 minute walk from our airBNB. The restaurant itself is super small and can fit maybe 15 people maximum. We got there around 8:30PM; it was a late dinner so we didn't have to wait long for a table to open up. Here's what we got: 1. Charsiu miso ramen (mine) 2. Miso ramen (his) We sipped on clear cold water as we waited for our ramen to come. I noticed that the staff are very attentive and would refill our water cups on the regular. I also think that since the restaurant is small, it is easier for the staff to take notice of all the patrons should they need anything. We waited about 15 minutes for the ramen to come. The soup is very fragrant. The noodles are soft with 4 decently sized pieces of charsiu and a handful of veggies. The prices were pretty good considering that a bowl of ramen can easily be $20 nowdays. Overall, the ramen was good, but it wasn't mind-blowing. It's a good place for a quick bite of ramen if you're craving it.
