Excellent experience, excellent food , customer service, beautiful environment. Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $100–120

Firstly I would like to say that I absolutely can’t fault the food. Food was great. We have also dined at the Parramatta restaurant and I cannot fault the food or their service. What a shock to the system it was having compare the service at canley heights. It’s extremely disappointing that I had to stand up just to get attention of the waiters and even several times I had to physically walk over to them. Even after we had finished our dinner, I asked multiple times if we could please have the table cleared so we could have the birthday cake as we had little kids and didn’t want to be out too late but even that simple request was ignored and waiters were all bundled up behind the counter talking, joking and laughing whilst watching me do their jobs and pack away 90% before they decided to walk over. I might add that they finished cleaning up the rest unapologetically. The food was great but not worth $650 with that service. HIGHLY recommend the parramatta restaurant!!! Food: 3 Service: 1 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $200+

Our family has been dining at Holy Basil Canley Heights for years, but our recent visit was very disappointing. We brought my sister from Adelaide, expecting the same great experience, but it fell short. The service was poor, and the once-busy atmosphere was noticeably quiet. Our favourite pork belly dish lacked the flavour and quality we remembered. We also ordered two mango sticky rice desserts to take away, but both scoops of ice cream were put into one container. When we asked to separate them, the waitress seemed annoyed and awkwardly split the already melting scoops—one barely had any left. For a dessert costing around $15–$18, the presentation was unacceptable. Most disappointing was the lack of hospitality—the staff seemed more interested in chatting than serving. Sadly, we won’t be returning as I do not wish to have our night ruined again. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–60
