I got to eat here in January and the food was so good. The atmosphere and service were exceptional! The owner was so sweet and gave us such a warm welcome. My fiancé and I will definitely be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was visiting Calgary for the first time and this restaurant was on my list to check out. The food was delicious with so many vegan nostalgic dishes for me! I wish I was closer to try more of these dishes. We were hungry and I forgot to take pictures before we devoured the food. Christina is amazing as she prepares all the food herself and is super friendly. There are also so many vegan products you could purchase to make some food at home! Found this hole in the wall. Homey Cafe and grocery on 40 Ave ne. It's a vegan vegetarian Asian inspired cafe. Only the owner works there and it's an open kitchen. Pretty cute decor and set up. Some dry and frozen items can be purchased. She was a sweet lady that just loved sharing her passion for food. You can find lots of vegan/vegetarian dim sum here. We had the imitation pekin duck, BBQ pork noodle rolls, and chicken wings. It was all very good. All her wraps, rolls, and noodles are made in house. Will be going there more often now. And we were chatting and she said she makes prosperity Malaysian toss salads as well during the new year. Been craving those from back home.
