A bit more hyped for what it was but I would return to try out other dishes. We got a mix of dishes here (some of the specials, breakfast and others). It was really packed and they really cater to the Chinese clientele so if you don’t speak the language, come with friends that do or what I did was point at what I wanted. The curry was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. It’s cheaper than Phoenix and tastes similar. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Finally, I gave this place a try for lunch. There was a bit of a wait. The place is small. It's good it has an automatic queue and notification system service was good and polite for a cha Chen teng the food was good and hk tea was good too wish the meal came with soup as some places have overall good expirence will come back -pork chop really soft -pork strip chow mein good Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Started in Hong Kong and now uprooted to Canada, Hong Kong Wing Tai Restaurant is a new cha chaan teng in Richmond Hill. From instant noodles to baked dishes, you will find many of your cha chaan teng classics here. First dish we tried was their baked pork chop in tomato sauce with rice. The pork was fairly thick and I really enjoyed the taste of the tomato sauce. The rice being fried instead of plain was also a nice touch. Second dish we tried was the pan fried chicken steak instant noodle - which also came with a sausage, scrambled egg and a bun. The broth for the noodles was a bit bland and if the sausage was pan fried would've been better. Both dishes came with a drink or could be substituted for soup.
