My first time at the Corner Cafe. Might be my last. Went with a large group (10) for breakfast. The restaurant did accommodate us and assigned two servers to our group. The ladies were pleasant. Service was spotty. When our meals were served, a couple of diners had to watch everyone else start as their meals were delayed a few minutes. One diner got his side order of pancakes (which he started on) but his main course was late in coming. Don't know whether to blame the kitchen or servers for the delays. I didn't ask everyone but my meal was not the best. Over medium eggs ordered were over easy. Veggies in skillet were pretty oily. The diner across from me stated that his grits were runny. Although my biggest gripe is that when I received the check for my skillet and coffee order, I was charged extra for the potatoes and pancakes that the menu states come with the skillet. I have never been anywhere else where I had to pay for the potatoes in a skillet. I ended up paying $16 and change for a skillet that was supposed to be closer to $13. I should've griped but just chalked it up to experience. A bad experience at that. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $10–20
