I have been coming here for years now and have never been disrespected ever anywhere as much as I have on Sept 16 in this establishment. My coworker and I had went in to order at the counter and the young lady taking orders was happy and bubbly with my coworker. Once she turned to me she automatically rolled her eyes then leaned over the counter and proceeded with what do you want. Never making eye contact again until I was at the register asking the cashier to confirm that my eggs were suppose to be over easy then the original order taker came over and asked the lady at the register what does he want? Then proceeded to turn to me and said we'll the kitchen took the ticket! With an attitude like it was my fault after asking three times to have them cooked that way nobody wanted to correct my order. Its kinda sad that once someone looks at you and automatically changes their attitude which I can only assume is because im a different race or color of skin then treat you like dog crap they stepped in, that it's ok. My order never came out correct I had to trash it once I opened because I lost all faith and trust, why would I ask them to remake an order when it feels like they would do something to the food. Twenty five bucks straight in the trash. I wish the owner or manager where aware of how they treat there customers. Three orders later and the taller gentleman starting taking orders and noone cared that this young lady wrote my order incorrect even the cashier had noticed the attitude from this young lady and racism is not ok in my book on any level especially for a business that is always busy but I guess as long as they've got their money the customers don't matter. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: $20–30

This is an amazing local gem! After trying to do a large lunch order with other local restaurants with no success, Hot Rocks Java Cafe came thru in a huge way! We had a last minute large lunch order. They accommodated us with no problems and were so pleasant!! Their food options are always delicious. I highly recommed. Order type: Delivery Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $100+
