Due to an extremely unpleasant experience, I can't give it more than two stars. I stayed at this hotel the night before my wedding. Before I left the hotel in the morning, photos were taken of me in the wedding dress in the lounge. At that moment an employee stormed in and asked us in a very unfriendly and condescending tone (on behalf of the boss) what we were allowing ourselves to do here - because we hadn't coordinated it and shootings weren't allowed there if you were the wedding itself does not celebrate in the Drahthammer Schlößl. Firstly, when I was there to ask if a room was available for that date, etc. I also asked if we could take photos, to which I was told by an (equally unfriendly) lady that it was fine would if there were no other guests there at the time (e.g. from a conference). Accordingly, I saw no need to ask for permission again on site. Secondly: Since when does a guest generally have to obtain permission to take photos in a hotel where they are staying. Just because I wore my wedding dress doesn't mean I'm allowed to wear it??? Thirdly: Even if different rules apply in this hotel than in all other hotels in the world or there is a misunderstanding here, treating guests in this way is simply not acceptable. What little empathy you have to have to treat a guest like that who is obviously getting married that day. I imagined my wedding morning to be different and can't rate my stay there any differently, despite the beautiful room and the very friendly and courteous male staff.
