We had lunch there and we didn’t expect to eat so well. The “smorrebrods” were very well prepared, tasty and not too expensive. We also tried a local specialty, fried smoked plaice, a great experience. Service: 5

Great hotel with a great location in the centre of Ribe, perfect if you want to explore the city by walking. Parking was the public parking spots that are within a ten minute walk, this was not ideal for us since we had a stroller and suitcases it was a little hassle but if you can travel light without strollers you will be absolutely fine. It was a little unclear where our room was in the hotel since the doors were all open of the rooms so we didn't understand but found out eventually. We got a very big room that had a very cosy interior in Danish style. Beautiful windows that had a beautiful view on the church of Ribe. We didn't know there wasn't an elevator which was also not ideal with the stroller. This hotel is not recommend when you are a wheelchair user. We also found forgotten underwear from another guest in the bathroom closet so I guess the cleaning could be a little better. Overall we had a great stay, the atmosphere of the hotel and room made it a very memorable stay and the reason of 5 stars, that and the location. Service: 4
