The Gasthof-Hotel zur Post in Törwang am Samerberg is a traditional family business in which the 7th generation is already taking on responsibility. Correspondingly caring, loving and protective you are received as a guest for the duration of your stay. The quality of the service is - despite the current shortage of skilled workers - strongly influenced by this family culture. The boss Wolfgang ("Wolfi") Pallauf personally takes care of the physical well-being of the guests. Its very good cuisine also attracts day visitors from all over the Chiemgau to the Samerberg. The hotel cooperation "Flair Hotels e.V." It is not without reason that Wolfi Pallauf has been voted Chef of the Year 2022. The rooms in the well-kept old building are very clean and spacious. However, those who like to sleep with the windows open should ask for rooms away from the adjacent thoroughfare. There are absolutely quiet alternatives on the other three sides of the three-storey house: (1.) to the spacious garden with pool and sunbathing area, (2.) to the lush meadows of the adjacent former farmsteads or (3.) to the beautifully renovated one Village square including the obligatory maypole. The guest structure includes families with big and small children, motorbike groups (there are reserved parking spaces for their bikes, by the way), as well as couples and entire birthday and wedding parties. We really enjoyed our stay there, say "Vergelts Gott" and can only recommend the Gasthof-Hotel zur Post in Törwang am Samerberg.
