Now that I’m old I have to eat at hipster restaurants like this because my metabolism isn’t what it used to be. I’d rather be eating a 3-meat plate at a local bbq joint but I just can’t do that night after night. So I thought I’d try a salad place. I got The Alamo, a Southwest chicken salad style. It’s actually pretty good. The ingredients are super fresh, the chicken is tender and well seasoned, the dressing really spices up the kale, and it’s all extremely customizable. In all honesty I’ll probably be back! So all you non hipsters who love meat and carbs put on a disguise or pull out your one Patagonia shirt I know you have hidden in the back of your closet and try Leaf & Grain. Maybe I’ll stop next door for an ice cream dessert ….. oh wait, I mean frozen yogurt.
