We had such a wonderful dinner at Hume! The entire meal was incredible from start to finish. We started with the complimentary bread—which came with a delicious oil and spice accompaniment—and ordered the trio dips to share. The dips included a warmed chickpea cheese dip, a Turkish guacamole, and a basil yogurt dip, all served with unique Turkish phyllo chips that added a fantastic flare. For our mains, we got the manti (small Turkish dumplings served in a rich, buttery, yogurt and spicy oil sauce) and the Turkish pulled chicken, which came with flaky turkey pastry dough, crispy chickpeas, and a spicy yogurt butter sauce. Everything was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The only downside to our evening was how quiet it was—the restaurant was nearly empty! It is honestly such a shame because the staff are wonderful, attentive, and the food is truly world-class. If you are looking for an amazing meal and want to support a hidden gem, you need to check this place out. We will definitely be back! One of the best dining experiences I've ever had! This lovely couple run restaurant truly stands out with its warm hospitality and personal touch. The service was exceptional friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. The ambiance was cozy and beautiful, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal. The food was absolutely delicious, and every penny was worth it. If you're looking for amazing food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. The owners are super kind and the food is wonderful. I was working outside the restaurant and they made me iced coffees with little roasted coffee beans in it - DIVINE. Then I went there for dinner. Absolutely 10/10 meal. There were things I've never seen before on this menu so we asked for some recommendations. I don't remember the names of everything but it was all soooo delicious. I especially loved the sea asparagus - my first time eating it and I can't wait to go back for more. Really awesome new spot in the neighbourhood! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
