First and last time going. Resturant from the outside is really nice. Clean interior. Food: The food was not that good. From all the things we ordered one item was okay. Service: Young female waitress was friendly and just really nice 5 for her. The second female i think the owner, confront us on WHY we didnt tip on the recipe. Not everyone likes to tip on the card, i personally like to tip cash! So i found it rude that she confronted my partner about it in that instant of giving her the signed recipe. She asked what was wrong with the service? The food? Not letting my partner explain, since she clearly was so curious then I explained that what we ordered pic of the menue was not the same as what was given to us, she continued asking about the service to my partner. We left, I personally just wanted to tip the waitress that sat us at the table but she wasnt on the floor of the restaurant. Aybe she was in the back? But honestly it wasnt good food, everything was soggy even things that we're supposed to be crispy. I was hoping to try a few more items and give this place a better review but I won't be going back. wow I use to like this place. But wow. Super rude and food was awful. We order chicken chowmein. Noodles tasted like soap and chlorine and very bland. We had to spit it out. Very bad. We ask why does it taste like that and the lady just got pissed off and asked us why dont we like it? I repeatedly told her something is wrong with the food and she said that they had change the noodles but still proceed to charge me. Gave us attitude. Their soup was bad too. No taste and rice very sticky and hard. We order a large soup obviously to share with the family and the lady never brought us the bowls. When we asked for a bowl we were ignored. After asking multiple times they brought us a kids small bowl just one smh IDK what it is but this place needs to close ! never going back there ever again! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Service: 1

My husband and I have good experience at Hunan Garden Chinese Restaurant. We have lunch special Hunan Beef and Chicken Garlic . Delicious food !!! Impressive !!! If Hunan Garden Chinese Restaurant keep as the authentic flavor ....I believe will better than Pf Chang Restaurant. Keep it up !!! Good luck ,. Your guest from North Area (not local Oxnard) .
