Had two entrees+extra noddles an app a soju bottle and a tea for 70 - included the 20% tip- excellent service- Would return if I lived in Madison. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best food and vibes in Madison, no contest. Regulars here, and treated like family. Erin & Rita create the perfect at ease vibe in the dining area to compliment the mastery that goes on in the kitchen. (Erin went out of her way to return my forgotten wallet!) I really can't praise this place enough. If you're a recovering Midwestern pallet like me, Dan Dan & Ryans Chicken are the gateways to paradise. I can't have Dan Dan anywhere else now - if it's not Hutong, its not Dan Dan XD Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Overall, 4.3/5 but I'll round away up. Definitely, Hutong is worth the visit. A hole-in-the-wall feel Chinese restaurant that feels more like a speakeasy than a formal dining arrangement, Hutong brings ambience and down tempo flair to the bustling engagement of the downtown core. Service knowledge and flow and speed of dish preparation could definitely be improved. Either they no longer have the spicy beef noodle soup or the server was completely lost, but she has no idea what I was referring to when I mentioned the dish -- one of Hutongs most popular dishes. Garlic green beans were a bit. Dan Dan noodles were ok but a little plain/not saucy enough. Sesame balls were delicious also, albeit small. Overall, is recommend a visit. Just make sure to carve out a ton of time to find parking. Kinda tough did to location Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
