Stay Away, There are a lot of restaurants in the area, go to one one them. Breakfast was a joke. No replenishment of the food. We were there over 1/2 hour and the staff continually walked past the food display area and couldn't be bothered to replenish anything. It was 9.30am. No Sausage as even an extra item. Over $70.00 for 2 people, for what ?. Price per person: A$60–80 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Overall, a disappointing dinner. I was so excited to finally get to Hyde Paradiso after following on socials for a few years. From the beginning, we were told that they didn't have more than half off the larger dishes available (all of the seafood that we came for) and no desserts were available. We ended up with chicken tenders, chips, oysters and tacos because that's all we could really see that looked good enough to share since there were no larger plates. The cocktails saved the day but the lack of service / attention led to us to only have one last drink before leaving although we planned to have more. Considering there were only 4 tables of people, there should have been more attention to us. Overall, I'm disappointed after hearing such great things. Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

My wife and are own numerous venues in Melbourne. We were recommended the Hyde restaurant from friends. We arrived without a booking on Friday 14th but we were warmly greeted and seated. The atmosphere within was astounding, great food, great music and incredible views. Our waitress for the evening, Alex, was incredible, her service impeccable and so friendly. However, the biggest asset that this establishment has is Trevor. He was attentive, friendly, engaging and a genuine people person. His enthusiasm not to just our table but to all that we observed was full of sincere passion for the guests and their experience. If possible, i would tempt them both too Melbourne. I will definitely recommend the venue on that merit alone.
