We visited India 101 for the first time and had a good experience, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately, our second visit was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price. At nearly $27 per person, the food quality was nowhere near what we expected. The non-vegetarian section was particularly poor. The goat curry had a strange aftertaste, the meat was rubbery, and the gravy was bland. Most of the chicken curries lacked flavor and were simply not enjoyable. The Chicken Dum Biryani was especially disappointing—it tasted more like a plain pulao than a biryani and was very bland. The Manchurian had a doughy texture and did not resemble proper Manchurian at all. The noodles were served cold, and the chili chicken tasted like boiled chicken dipped in sauce rather than properly sautéed and cooked. Even the desserts missed the mark. The gulab jamun tasted more like a donut soaked in sugar water, and the carrot halwa seemed like boiled carrots in syrup with no noticeable ghee flavor. Overall, the food quality did not justify the price. Based on our recent experience, this restaurant is not worth the cost. If you’re looking to save money and enjoy flavorful food, you may want to consider other options. The only thing which is good was salad especially the onion and cucumber. Those were really good. The dosa and chaat station were great! Rasam, sambar and idli were very good. Unfortunately, the main course is very average. There are a lot of vegetarian options. Most dishes were too salty and tasteless. The malai kofta, Andhra chicken, butter chicken were good. Mutton korma was too salty and oily. Such a large variety but no fish options. Magi lassi and buttermilk were good. Dessert was gulab jamun, kheer, halwa, gajar halwa and phirni. All average tasting. Customer service was also average, water not being refilled, used plates were lying around for quite a while. We went for Sunday dinner which was $25 per person, totally NOT worth it! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

We visited this restaurant for a graduation celebration, expecting a good dining experience, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. We went for the buffet around 8 PM, which was not even close to closing time, yet many food items were already empty and were not being refilled properly. The food that was available was cold, hard, and difficult to eat. We even looked for a microwave/oven ourselves to heat the food because the staff showed very little concern for customer satisfaction. When we raised our concerns, the staff were unresponsive and did not provide any satisfactory explanation, solution, or even a small concession considering the poor experience. The service overall felt careless and unprofessional. For the price charged, the quality of both the food and service was absolutely not worth it. Sadly, what was supposed to be a memorable graduation dinner turned into a disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place for buffet dining or special occasions.
