So very disappointed. I've been going to Ian's Tropical Grill back in the 90s when it was located in Fort Pierce when we first moved to Florida. Was always my favorite place to go on my birthday and our wedding anniversary and my husband's birthday. Then it moved to Jensen Beach and we continue to go there. Haven't been there in a while due to circumstances but received the birthday invitation to celebrate my birthday so we decided to go since we hadn't been there in a while. Have never been to the Stuart location yet and we're excited just to see how it faired up with the other to places. Looked online to see if their menu changed which it had I was excited though that they had my favorite dish which was the Macadamia crusted snapper. Got to the restaurant the menu had changed somewhat the prices were different than what was on their website but I still ordered my favorite dish and I ordered our favorite fried spinach. They didn't have the dish my husband wanted so he just ordered the hamburger. Sorry to say it was the worst dinner I've ever had in my life and in a restaurant. I don't mind paying a high price when the food is good and I was expecting it to be like it always was. Don't know what you've done to change things but the spinach was terrible didn't taste the same, I got the Macadamia crusted Snapper it was soggy there was no crunch no taste it was soggy and there's just nothing and I didn't like the rice had no flavor was terrible. My husband ate most of my fish because he was hungry. and the Hamburg I could have got a bigger one at Burger King! He didn't care for his hamburger and the french fries were terrible. Nothing was mentioned about my birthday, but in the past when we went they always so nice in wishing you Happy Birthday or Anniversary and would fuss over you if it was your birthday or your anniversary, however nothing was said. We waited over 45 minutes for our dinner and we're never asked if we liked it. I'm just so disappointed because it was always our favorite restaurant for special occasions. I've sent many people there, but won t anymore. We were there Tuesday night, February 6th.
