Idly Express is my go‑to when I’m craving comforting South Indian food. Their $5 specials after 3 PM every day are an excellent deal. I got the adai avail — two adais with aviyal, plus butter and sugar — all for just $5. The adai was definitely on the oily side, but for the price, it was good. Their tea is amazing.Overall, a great spot for simple, satisfying South Indian comfort food at a very reasonable price. Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian Dietary restrictions: They also serve vegan tea and coffee !

I recently visited Idly Express and had a wonderful experience. Medhu Vadai is my all-time favourite, and during my pregnancy I’ve been craving it a lot—so I was really excited to try it here. It did not disappoint! The Medhu Vadai was absolutely delicious, and the veg biryani was equally amazing. The staff were very sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty and comforting food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Bought Garlic Pickle and Narthangai Pickle yesterday, the outer layer packing looks good. I opened the outer layer packing then opened the pickle and found MOLD in the pickle. Do not buy anything from this place. I called the cashier and shared the details before write this review. I bought it from Idly Express - Milpitas. Do not play with customer's health to make money. Adding more photos. Can you share via text message 669-291-7000 more details on where you purchased and also photos of the product and label so that we can look at the batch number and pull out the other bottles from the shelf.
