I used to be a regular back in 2018-2019 while studying at UCC. It was cozy some nights while ruckus on others, but it was always great. I just visited the other night though and it’s vibe has completely changed (which nearly 10 years later it’s bound to so so maybe that’s on me/my nostalgia). It was entirely chaotic and serving mostly to individuals in their early twenties. It didn’t help that the barkeepers essentially ignored me though I was being polite and all and was right in front of them trying to place a drink order. One even told me they were already making two drinks and couldn’t helpthen literally proceeded to take the order of the guys next to me. I’m not sure if it was because I’m an American and she didn’t like that or whatbut I was out of there so fast. I would not recommend this place unless you’re going with a group of friends and don’t intend to stay long. If you want to get pints without feeling unwelcomed, especially if you’re by yourself, and want to make friends, go elsewhere. Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Very light atmosphere. People are friendly. Bartenders are sociable. (kudos to Yannick and Aoibhe) We enjoyed our night. Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was at this bar with friends to celebrate a birthday. While we were seated outside a lady came to the outdoor area asking for money. When we told her no she procedeed to use derogatory language in the faces of impalas customers. This all of happened directly infront of the security staff. The lady noticed the bouncer and aproached him with a hug which the security staff reciprocated. Then the lady kept going across the tables and left her beer can on our table. This was notified to a staff member who recommended to leave the can on our table in case she came back. The staff member was worried in case she came back to find her beer can was not there and this would make her angry. As a result, we ended up minding her beer can until we left. The fact they allowed people to just walk up to their customers asking for money and being disrespecful towards their clients made me feel very unconfortable. This all happened infront of the bouncer. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
