We stumbled into this place because we were looking for a restaurant were to eat authentic japanese food, which we did. The couple that owns the place was extremely nice despite the fact we did not speak the same language. We ordered two dishes of the day, one uji noodles, one kayaku udon and one curry udon. We left more than satisfied, but not feeling stuffed. We also did not spend much, 4700¥. The place feels like staying at your grandparents, if it had been closer to our stay here in Kyoto, we would definetly come here everyday. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We just arrived in Kyoto and are staying on the same block as Inaba. We walked in for lunch, sat down and showed them pictures of what we wanted. Amazing food and we felt welcomed by the elderly couple that runs the place. Prices are very reasonable. Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
