Lors de mes récentes visites au India Restaurant à Rennes, j’ai été très impressionné tant par la qualité de la cuisine que par l’hospitalité. Dès l’arrivée, on est accueilli chaleureusement, et, à ma grande surprise, un verre de vin est offert en guise de bienvenue – une attention rare et très appréciée qui donne le ton. Lors de ma première visite, j’ai commandé le Lamb Vindaloo, et c’était tout simplement excellent – relevé, savoureux, avec des épices parfaitement équilibrées. La viande était tendre et bien cuite, fidèle à la tradition indienne. J’ai également pris un Chicken Biryani à emporter, et même après un moment, le plat a conservé toute sa saveur et son parfum. L’ambiance générale du restaurant est conviviale et agréable. Ce qui rend l’endroit vraiment spécial, c’est l’hôtesse, Namrata, une personne charmante et accueillante qui veille à ce que chaque client se sente à l’aise et bien servi. Lors de ma deuxième visite, j’ai goûté le Shrimp Masala, et encore une fois, les saveurs étaient au rendez-vous. Les crevettes étaient parfaitement cuites, et la sauce bien relevée. Après plusieurs visites, je peux dire avec certitude que India Restaurant est l’un des meilleurs restaurants indiens de Rennes. Que vous ayez envie d’un plat épicé, d’un bon curry ou tout simplement d’un accueil chaleureux, cet endroit saura vous satisfaire. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant à tous les amateurs de cuisine indienne à Rennes – cet endroit est top ! ———— During my recent visits to India Restaurant in Rennes, I was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the hospitality. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed warmly, and to my surprise, offered a complimentary glass of wine – a rare and thoughtful touch that sets the tone for a pleasant dining experience. On my first visit, I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo, and it was exceptional – rich, spicy, and full of flavor, just as it should be. The balance of spices and the tenderness of the meat showed the chef’s attention to authentic preparation. I also ordered Chicken Biryani as a takeaway, and even after a while, the biryani retained its aroma and taste, which was quite impressive. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting. What makes the place truly special is the host, Namrata, who brings warmth and charm to the experience. She’s friendly, attentive, and makes sure that each customer feels welcomed and taken care of. On my second visit, I decided to try the Shrimp Masala, and again, the flavors were spot on. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and the curry was rich and satisfying. I’ve now been to India Restaurant more than once, and I can confidently say this is one of the better Indian food spots in Rennes. Whether you’re craving something spicy, flavorful, or simply looking for a friendly place to enjoy Indian cuisine, this restaurant checks all the boxes.
