I live in Chicago and was in need of a cake for my father's 90th Birthday Celebration. My friend who lives in Franklin, recommended Ivey Cakes. I was a bit nervous about the entire process being so far and communicating via. email. I literally almost cried when I picked the cake up, it exceeded what I had thought it would look like. Classy and delicious! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had heard good things about this bakery in Brentwood so when I was preparing to throw my baby sister a surprise party for her 50th birthday, I reached out to them to inquire about a custom cake. They were prompt with their responses and very helpful in placing my order. I dropped off ribbon and flowers to add to the cake and they did such a beautiful job. I was ecstatic with how the finished product turned out. My reason for not giving 5 stars is I wished they would have explained the importance of refrigerating the cake. It had started to melt/sink before the event which was really disappointing. They put a sticker on the back of the box with instructions but I never looked at the back. I would recommend to the store owner that they place the sticker on the front of the box for us newbie customers. Other than that, the cake was great! Beautiful and delicious! And now YOU also know the importance of refrigeration.
