Overall, the tour was well-organized, with a very detailed briefing before snorkeling and clear safety instructions for participants. The seawater was cleaner than expected, with no floating trash, but it was quite murky. Even in the coral protection area, there were no fish or corals visible, only a sandy seabed. The fishing activity felt a bit too simple, with bread and basic fishing lines given to each guest. At first there were no fish at all, and only after changing to a few different spots did we manage to catch some. The crab trap from the boat did catch one crab, which was a small highlight. The last activity, the banana boat ride, was disappointing as it was far too slow and not exciting. Hopefully this can be improved in the future. Overall, it was an okay experience, but for travelers looking for snorkeling, I would not recommend Port Dickson. Malaysia has many other world-renowned diving and snorkeling destinations.
