Best spot in Waco. This is THE oasis in the desert. The quality, plating, atmosphere are all top tier. A great spot to entertain visitors, a family brunch or a luncheon. The atmosphere is inviting, spacious yet comfortable, warm and inviting. I really appreciate the attention to details. It's definitely a go to for everyday treats and sipping your favorite beverage. There are many fabulous options from coffee to juice and old fashioned sodas. The menu is eclectic with dabs of Asian fusion. The quality of everything they plate is farm to table fresh. They are taking great effort to teach the wait staff excellence in service. It's definitely a Waco experience WORTH having. Everyone at my table was pleased with their food. My youngest was ready to lick the plate. Cannot wait for my next visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Vegetarian options: The vegetables and fruits are so fresh I don't remember specifics about the options but I'm certain the kitchen has accommodations. A friend and I ate here a few weeks ago. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, but got an egg salad sandwich when it was finally served. Fried pickles were amazing. We both ordered Nashville teas (very good), didn't get them until the food was served (C'mon folks, Texas at 100 degrees, you arrive thirsty!). We asked for refills on the Nashville teas, but never got them. Also, the flatware was still wet from the dishwasher when the server set them on the table. Nice atmosphere, not impressed otherwise. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $20–30

Stopped in JDs for brunch and was disappointed in quality, portion and price. If you want to pay under 15 dollars for brunch items you will be disappointed. If you are okay spending 20+ the food may be better. I ordered a breakfast panini with a side salad. It was two pieces of dry bread with mayo, 1 egg, and a single slice of bacon (I asked for turkey but got bacon). And the bacon was the cheap clearly frozen kind... The salad comes drenched in dressing which if you are looking for a healthy option ask for it on the side! And its literally just mixed greens no tomatos, cucumbers or anything. Also ordered a breakfast bowl to go which is pictured. I think 16$ for what we got in the bowl was insane. It feels like in order to get a good meal you have to pay extra to add basic items (like 2 eggs instead of 1). Or 6 dollars to add chicken to a bowl that already costs 15$.... Nothing is exciting or leaves you feeling satisfied. Also it took 2 full hours to have lunch there. Waited over 45 mins to get food. The place itself is cute and has potential but I hate paying for food that I could have made better at home. Will not be back. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20
