A must stop! We stopped on our way to Matagorda and had a wonderful lunch. super friendly service, delicious bbq, a unique Smokey sauce, and the best fried okra I’ve had in the entire state- hands down! Love what yall are doing and look forward to coming back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I lucked out finding this place after an appointment in Rosharon. I was super impressed with the food and I loved the low key atmosphere. I got the two meat plate and everything was great. I’m already thinking of making the hour drive from Richmond tomorrow to get some more of this great food. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was out at Brazos Bend State Park with some friends taking pictures and we stopped here at lunchtime before heading back to NE Houston. It's off the beaten path of the main road in Rosharon so you sort of need to have the address or know where it is. They are only open on Friday through Sunday and I am sure their hours may be cut short if the sell out of BBQ! We ordered and the guy at the window was real nice but I think he was working by himself so he took the orders for our group of 10 before he could actually bag up the food. But in the end the wait was worth it! The food was well received by our group and everyone agreed the brisket, pulled pork, chicken, ribs, sausage and beans were all top notch and worth the wait. Can't say enough, the guy running the pit and taking and serving our orders even came out to check if we needed anything else. We were all very happy and glad we stopped by. Love bugs were the only issue for eating outside, wish they had a big fan blowing. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
