My wife and I sat outside in the "garden" and if I hadn't reported myself to the service after 20 minutes, no one would have noticed us. We waited another 30 minutes for our food. We felt like leaving but we were tired of going elsewhere. The raspberries I ordered were too sweet, I had to order a beer to drink it down. Fish and chips, potatoes and mayonnaise with salad are great, but the fish itself is tasteless and overcooked. The next dish was breaded shrimp on a vegetable base and with tortillas - the tortillas were inedible, completely dry. The service as such is 50/50, the younger blonde employee with glasses completely ignored us when we came, she was on the phone outside and then went away somewhere and didn't even think to tell her colleague that she had guests outside - while she saw us very clearly. The colleague who stayed there and whom I had to go see afterwards was very pleasant and helpful. She apologized that there was a reservation for more people and they couldn't make it. I will allow myself to go to the restaurant in a week or two and if the food, drinks and service speed are better, I will immediately change the rating here to 5* Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: Kč 300–400 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

JEMNÝ BISTRO is a hidden gem situated away from the bustling city center of Prague, and in my opinion, the best in Modřany. The restaurant boasts friendly and cheerful staff, offering an extraordinary selection of beers on tap, including Chotěboř and Matuška, along with a diverse range of wines. The kitchen is outstanding, with a menu that is regularly updated. Having attended numerous live music events at this venue, they have left me with the best memories. It’s unfortunate that the place doesn’t operate on weekends, but overall, it undeniably deserves a well-earned 5-star rating.
