I visited this branch with a friend yesterday and ordered the bavette steak 6/10, salmon dish 7.5/10 and the cannelloni ricotta 8/10. We were seated right away and the restaurant was not busy, however the food was served lukewarm leaning more to the cold side. The flavor of the cannelloni pasta was great but it came kind of cold. We also ordered the steak medium well but it was actually rare on the inside, when they brought it after cooking it further it was lukewarm and it looked like each piece was cooked further separately since it was an entrecôte style steak. It was bland aside for the sauce which was also lukewarm. The salmon was okay but was also a bit cold. The waiter that served us was great but took time to get his attention since he was on his phone a lot and facing away from us the whole time. I’m honestly very disappointed in the quality of food in regards to the prices of the dishes Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SAR 80–100 Food: 3 Service: 3

I’m a female business traveler from the west. I visit Joes cafes almost exclusively when I’m in Riyadh for business and have my clients meet me there. Today I visited the Joes Cafe in Nakheel Mall and after ordering asked for the ladies room and was directed to it. It had no toilet paper whatsoever. A clean table napkin had been left on the toilet tank which tells me this is not a new problem. I reported this to a junior server and told him this was unacceptable and needed to be addressed immediately. I checked 40 minutes later and saw that there was still no toilet paper. I asked for the house manager and the more senior server said there wasn’t one so he was in charge. I advised him of the conversation with his colleague and advised him this still was not remedied and was still unacceptable. He was not troubled by this but said “ that’s actually a staff bathroom not a ladies room for customers” I advised that there were primarily women and children as customers in the cafe right at the moment ( very slow) and what were they to do for a bathroom??? He shrugged his shoulders basically stating that this was not his problem. As KSA is opening up their country to the world to meet the requirements of Vision 2030, this is very dismissive behaviour towards any customer. I will not be patronizing any Joes Cafes globally and will take my business elsewhere. Ps: my colleague needed lactose free milk for her coffee which they did not have so she had to obtain a coffee from Starbucks and bring it back PPS: this senior server called me “ sister” each time he addressed me while taking my order. I was told later this is a dismissive term per my Middle Eastern colleague who attended with me. My visit was may 13 from 1230 pm til 4 pm Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The best place to sit and relax with good food and coffee. The crew are very accomodating,friendly. The service is quick. The cafe stands where you can see the perfect view of city lughts of riyadh. Thank you Joe's Cafe -Al Nakheel riyadh. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: SAR 140–160 Recommended dishes: Quesadilla
