Three good and drinks were all very good. We had the steelhead and alfredo. I do wish they gave you an option to pick your own sides. My alfredo said it came with miso soup or salad and i wasn't offered either. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My recent dining experience at Jack's Seafood left much to be desired, earning the establishment a mere two-star rating in my book. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that there were significant issues with service. The confusion among the staff was palpable, as the waiter who initially greeted us promptly passed us off to the host. Despite informing the waiter that our party consisted of three people, the hostess redundantly inquired about our party size a few minutes later. This lack of communication set the tone for our disappointing visit. After finally being seated and given water, we patiently waited for someone to take our order. A staggering 20 minutes passed before any member of the staff acknowledged our presence. During this time, we watched as other patrons were seated and promptly attended to, leaving us feeling neglected and frustrated. The restaurant does have its positives, such as ample parking, friendly staff, and a pleasant view of the water and boats. However, these positives couldn't compensate for the overall subpar experience. Our appetizer, a dozen oysters, was marred by poor shucking, with shell fragments littering the oysters. One oyster was even only partially shucked, which was not only disappointing but potentially hazardous. As for the main courses, my po boy was passable, but the accompanying french fries were disappointingly soggy. My son's choice of calamari and fries was a rare bright spot, as he enjoyed his meal. However, my wife's Dungenous crab dish, priced at a staggering $50, left much to be desired. It lacked flavor and simply wasn't worth the exorbitant price tag, especially given its designation as "Market Price." In conclusion, while Jack's Seafood may offer decent views and some friendly staff, the overall dining experience was marred by confusion, neglect, subpar dishes, and overpriced options. This visit was far from satisfactory, and I would think twice before returning or recommending it to others.
