The chicken clay pot rice was quite nice with free range chicken. They cook it from scratch so be prepared to wait upwards of 20 minutes. The rice on the edges were cooked to the point of being crispy which my wife loves. $17 includes a small cup of tea. The food is quite good for food court food Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Free Range Chicken with Mushroom

I like their claypot free-range chicken rice, which costs from $12 to $17. It used to be delicious and I ate it often, but recently it’s not as good as before. The rice is tasteless, the chicken is tasteless, and even the fried vegetables are tasteless. I believe it. I will never eat there again.

Based on the info I've read on Yelp, I influenced my eating buddy to try James Snacks. So around 1:00PM, we walked towards the Empire Centre's Food Court. Knowing it will take 20 mins. to cook the Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sauce, I preordered it on the way. The tables in the FoodCourt were limited as some were ribboned for Covid-19 protocol. We had to wait another 10 mins. Anyway, when we got our orders, to my disappointment, my spare ribs were mainly fatty while my friend was lucky to get mostly lean meat. I let the woman know who was serving the counter and she said, she'll make the adjustment next time. Later on, I showed her what she gave me, and she said there was nothing wrong because it's natural for spare ribs to have fat. Yes, it's natural but not almost every piece I got were fatty. Then she said order something else next time. I doubt if there will be a next time for me. For me, nothing was so special about the Clay Pot Rice.
