One of the best meals I had in Busan. As someone who has travelled extensively in Mexico, including Oaxaca, I was genuinely impressed by the respect and understanding behind every dish. This is not simply Mexican food—it is cuisine prepared with technique, balance and heart. The tostada was incredibly delicate, the fish taco outstanding: an impossibly light, crisp batter surrounding perfectly cooked fish, creating a beautiful contrast of textures. The Oaxacan-style mole was elegant and refined, and the mezcal highball was the perfect pairing. Their handmade tortillas deserve a special mention: they reminded me that great bread, in any culture, is made with the same care and respect for tradition. What made this lunch truly memorable, however, was the warmth and generosity of the chef and the whole team. Their hospitality reminded me of the kindness I have always experienced while travelling through Mexico. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You’re lucky to have chanced upon this tip, from a million in Busan. We were lucky to chance upon Zandunga in a city with so many eateries :-) Because if you plan to have only one non-Korean meal during your Busan trip, prioritise Zandunga. If you love Mexican food, this is a must! Totally deserving of its Michelin Guide 2026 entry. We ordered and ENJOYED everything! From tacos to tostadas to their Oaxaca-style chicken mole. While some reviewers pointed out that it’s not so, we felt the preparation & flavours were authentic, having visited Mexico City & as a member of our dining group who lived in Mexico for 6 months can attest to. The margarita recipe is on the sweeter side, so request your preferred profile early. We ended our meal with a mezcal flight. My dining companions unanimously voted Zandunga the best non-Korean meal for our trip (we sampled Italian, Chinese & Japanese), & possibly one of the better Mexican outside Mexico. Reservations. When online platform indicated they were unable to accept any more, we got a local to call. They saved tables for walk-ins, which we were able to secure by rushing over. The restaurant has two entrances, each facing vehicular roads. Toilets are in the building next door & requires PIN access. But for washing your hands, there is a wide basin within the restaurant. Price per person: ₩40,000–50,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Been to Mexico but Korean style Mexican food.. We totally loved it . The tuna one is the best tostada I’ve ever eaten. And the people are extremely lovely. Price per person: ₩20,000–30,000
