Came here twice during our trip to Tahoe and just WOW. Everything we ordered food-wise was phenomenal. The buffalo wings are some of the best I’ve ever had, their calamari IS the best I’ve ever had, clam chowder and the garlic cheese bread were heavenly, Irish potatoes were stacked and delicious, even the drinks were made really well. Happy hour is also a plus! Our server, Tyler, was genuine, friendly and helpful! Great view sitting outside, cozy and cute seating inside. Overall just a really great place, definitely our favorite from our week in Tahoe. Looking forward to coming back on our next visit! On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, we were all very hangry after completing a hike nearby. We stumbled upon Jason's Beachside Grille, added our name to the waiting list and started waiting. Initially we were told that the wait is 20-30 minutes for the outside patio, we didn't mind that so we agreed. We sat by the bar and ordered some drinks to cool us down. We checked out the rest of the property to kill some more time. After long 50 minutes, our buzzer went off and we were finally seated. There was a table available right by the glass window outside but our server somehow thought that we'd like to be seated in the back with limited view. We asked her if we can sit by the glass window closer to the 'beachside' she kind of rolled her eyes but agreed. No big deal, we were even more hangry at this point so went straight to ordering. We all ordered burgers which also took a while to get to us and then only to realize that they're super mediocre. Lacking flavor and the buns were not soft/cheap. We just shook our heads and kept eating. The service did get better and was actually really nice. So 2 stars for that. 1 star for the view. Will I be back? Probably not.
