I drive by Java Garden all the time but had never gone inside until my friend invited me. It was just after holidays and they'd been closed so it was a bit hectic. It seems like an owner's operation and he and one other were making up salads as needed. There was none of the chickpea salad so I had the garden. I watched it being made, so I know it was fresh. The tomato and red pepper soup was fantastic. The flavour was rich. I could've eaten another bowl. The sandwiches looked really good too, like panini. I feel like I should go back when they're more organized. I like supporting local, independent business. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Panini, Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup Bowl
