I dont think "great place , people and food" is adequate . They actually care about what they make and do everyday. Anyone will take an order for you....everyone is fully present... they have their departments, but ready to jump in at any moment - its a positive use of the word Triage! Serving size looked small - asked for more and with a smile they topped off my soup ( vs. "Ready for combat"). Asked for "Grande" slice and boy did I get one - I should have washed on half of it; wasn't even hungry for dinner, and, BTW, it was the best Spinach and Eggplant I ever had ( Is that the usual combo? I forget). My son's "Mac and Cheese" should be renamed "Big Mac and Cheese" - ok, maybe not, but you get the picture - he took home half and will have snack for next day or so. They are friendly and the customers readily pass continents and help each other out when order is ready...they just set the tone- the right tone! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The unofficial headquarters of “Just grab me something from Jerusalem, I’m starving.” Jerusalem Restaurant in Elizabeth is one of those places you walk into and immediately think, “Ah, this is exactly what a good, heimishe pizza shop should feel like.” The vibes are classic, the tables are sturdy, the chairs don’t wobble (a neis), and the smell of fresh pizza hits you before you even finish parking your car. The slices here? LEGIT. These aren’t your delicate, Brooklyn-style thin slivers. These are full-on, serious, respectable Elizabeth mezuman-size slices. One slice is basically a full meal, and two slices means you’re not moving for the next hour. The cheese pull is so perfect it could win awards. The crust has that ideal balance of crispy and chewy — you know, the kind that makes you nod to yourself like, “Yeah they know what they’re doing here.” If you’re feeling adventurous, the breaded eggplant pizza is a must-try. Sounds wild, tastes amazing. Your taste buds will thank you; your diet won’t, but who cares — it’s Jerusalem. Service is quick, friendly, and no-nonsense. You walk in, you say your order, and before you even check your phone, your slice is already on the counter waiting for you. Efficiency level: Milchigs Special Ops Unit. Whether you’re grabbing lunch, stopping by during a road trip, picking up supper for the family, or you just need that classic kosher pizza-shop comfort experience Jerusalem Restaurant always delivers (literally and figuratively).
