OMG!! This is my new favourite restaurant, a solid 10/10!!! The food is incredibly satisfying and very reasonably priced. I’m so glad I chose Jinsei for my sister’s birthday dinner, especially since she loves Japanese cuisine. The food was absolutely scrumptious. We ordered the small plates and the Korean BBQ, and everything was delicious. I also loved the beautiful aesthetics of the restaurant, and the service was top-notch. We were looked after by Sandile, who gave excellent recommendations for our meals. I highly recommend Jinsei and will definitely be returning often. i absolutely love this little spot in waterfall! this was my first time but definitely not the last, the food was amazing and tasted authentic. we ordered the pork bao, beef moneybags, chicken potstickers and the tuna poke bowl. to drink i ordered a ginger bread coconut drink, which unfortunately i can’t remember the name of, and it tasted similar to ginger shot. the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, as for the ambience it was quiet despite it being a friday (probably due to the heavy rain). the music helped ease the vibe though. from my experience, i would recommend the tuna poke bowl for sure!! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: R 200–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

SJ was our exceptional waiter. He was very attentive and friendly and he made great recommendations. The atmosphere is lovely and the cocktails are amazing. Definitely going back. The sushi was so good as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
