To begin with, reduced choice on offer, i.e. a starter of your choice and two desserts (fruit or soft chocolate. As a meal simply chopped steak, beef steak, carbo pasta and a fish of the day for approximately between 8 to 11€ . Our choice is made: ground steak and rare beef steak. We sit in the room until our “beep” sounds. Very spacious dining room, no clean tables and chairs. We waited 15 minutes until I got up and looked around to see that our two plates were on the sides, ready. 5 minutes later our BEEP rings, we collect our plates and I say to the lady who serves us "I hope our plates are hot given how long they have been off the grill" she gives us our plates and says nothing. We were serving ourselves some garnishes when the cook asked me what was going on. I say the same thing, and he starts to tell me "no, they're just coming out." as an apology. Although, he got angry and snatched the plates from our hands with meats and garnishes. He screams in the restaurant, threatening us not to come eat here anymore, that we were being disrespectful. And I repeat he was shouting in the restaurant. So he threw away the plates to make them again for us even though we had already waited a long time. The department/room manager did not act to manage the conflict. Only a very low “shh.” He let his cook talk to us like that, and put on a show in front of the customers. Last thing: I'm going back to serve myself as a garnish a little later. There was still some already cooked meat left. The manager said like that “you save that for tonight” grall! In short, although I certainly didn't have to be familiar with him, it didn't deserve behavior like this, which was extreme. And the manager who doesn't act. I strongly advise against it. June 19, 2024 Very disappointed with the choice of dishes and desserts we only offer you fruit and a soft chocolate which is limited. For the main course, chopped steak, steak, grilled ham and a fish of your choice. We ask for our meat between two, we wait 15 minutes our beep still does not ring. One of us gets up to see, our plates are ready, we wait another 5 minutes before the beep rings. The lady who serves us is asked if the meat is hot because it has been on the plate for 5 minutes, she does not answer. The cook arrives and talks to him about it, during this time we had no choice, we garnished our plates with vegetables. The cook approaches the vegetable server and attacks us to the point of telling us if you don't like it, go eat elsewhere. The tone is raised of course we cannot react like that to a question. He took our plates back and threw them in the trash and remade our meat while yelling. An absent room manager just two words to his cook: calm down. However, I love the Ancenis crescendo of choice, of the smiling staff who welcome you, clear your table and clean each time there is a change of customers. But the one from Basse Goulaine should do an internship there. Cafeteria to avoid and when you read all the negative reviews I confirm that 3 years is always a disaster. Very disappointed despite the few people this day my order of grilled ham never arrived at the cook communication problem between the two stations resulting in a fairly long wait. Starter and desert not diversified enough. Friendly staff however. I do not recommend not this cafeteria. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
